I hope you’re doing great. Today I am back with what is now Week 2 (early days) of my $500 a Week Affiliate Marketing with Clickbank case study. Remember, I’m not doing this (at least not at the moment) with expensive paid advertising because I’m deliberately getting the ball rolling on a shoestring budget and I’m also doing a few ‘prep’ things in the background which should accelerate my results as time goes by.

There is a bit of upfront cost at this stage but really it’s peanuts (if you want to know what that is, check out Step 3 in my affiliate empire plan and contact me with your receipt and username if you decide to take the leap) when you consider I’m largely going for recurring income, so as those months start rolling around, the income and profit per week is going to start stacking up and that’s a beautiful thing.
With that in mind, here’s the latest scores on the doors for Week 2: 23rd to 29th January and a sneak peek of a recurring income commission that rolled in shortly afterwards.
3 Steps To Building An Affiliate Empire (Join The List)
On the face of things it looks like a slowish week but I’ve been doing a bit of ‘setup’ over the past few days behind the scenes. The great thing about going for recurring income from products and services is not having to nail your success to a post in terms of ‘chasing’ sales just to make anything worthwhile, because passive income affords you the luxury of being rewarded for your previous efforts.
We’re only 2 weeks in and we already have over $80 commissions that could come in the following month from the sales we have generated in a short 2 week timeframe (you’ll see why this is so powerful as the weeks and months come and go).
Now you can’t stop promoting altogether because you do get a drop-off/churn rate so you do need to get some new sales each month to offset and hopefully increase your monthly income as that is really the name of the game as an affiliate.
So what I’m doing is promoting daily, regardless of what is or isn’t coming in. As time goes by, more commissions are just going to roll in on autopilot and those days of sales/commissions with those nice little bars next to the dollar amounts are going to become larger and more frequent.
In the early stages you have to fall in love with the process and not so much the results/sales as you’re setting up a foundation for future success. By documenting that in this blog you can see what that looks like in the real world.
I could throw a bunch of money at paid ads and make those figures look impressive right out of the gate, but I am doing this from the point of view of someone starting out that doesn’t have a ‘wadge of boodle’ (i.e. lots of spare cash) burning a hole in their backpocket. Once we get income rolling in we can start testing different traffic sources if we want to.
Summary of Week 2:
Goal: $500 A Week As A Clickbank Affiliate
Results: $20.68 Total Commissions (we also had another $20.68 come in just after the week 2 cut-off date but the sale was made on the 28th Jan so technically you could say we practically had $41.36 at that point as long as the rebill went through).
Sales: 1 (technically 2)

1) Daily Promotion / Working On Something To Potentially Boost Sales
2) Keeping An Eye On Conversions (gathering data at this stage which will serve us well in future)
