People are always asking me how they can make money online. A lot of folks out there are struggling to make sense of it all, when in fact it’s pretty straight forward.
If you’re not a vendor with your own products and services, the other way is to become an affiliate and promote somebody elses. This can be an individual offer or it can be a system which has its own library of products/services.
Most people reading this will fall into the AFFILIATE category (don’t worry, you can start off as an affiliate and become a vendor later if you want to).
Either way, the bottom line to make money on the internet is that ultimately a customer opens their wallet and buys something, so the other thing you need is TRAFFIC that buys.
The vendor makes money from the sale and the referring affiliate gets a percentage of this sale which will have been agreed in advance.
So, how do you make money?
You can either go out there and find a product/service or you can promote a system which has its own ecosystem.
So do you choose that or a system?
Here’s why I recommend you choose a system in preference.
If you promote someone elses products as an affiliate, they will usually pay you commissions on the funnel for that offer, but the vendor keeps all the buyer leads. They will then sell the newly acquired customer products and services that you don’t earn any commissions on.
That’s why it’s SO HARD to gain any traction as an affiliate.
Here’s a better way. Join a system where your customer is hardcoded at an account level and also earn commissions while you are learning.
Later you can then upgrade and earn on all touch points across the range of products and services.
